Parents and teachers must learn to listen with empathy, not just with expectations. Because sometimes, all it takes to save a life is one person who cares enough to ask, “Okay ka lang ba?” Teen mental health is not just a phase or a personal struggle—it is a societal responsibility. Behind every perfect grade, every forced smile, every “I’m fine,” there might be someone who’s barely holding on. And if we truly wish to protect the youth, we must first teach them that their worth is not measured by grades, trophies, or expectations—but by the simple, unshakable truth that their life matters.
