In a digital space flooded with noise, half-truths, and performative content, that kind of clarity is not just rare—it is necessary. That is exactly why people are drawn to her. And that part is valid—undeniably so.

She deserves the flowers.

But lately, the bouquets being handed to her seem to leave bruises on everyone else.

The problem is not that people admire Lans. The problem is what they do with that admiration afterward.

But the second you start using her success as a comparison tool against other women, your admiration collapses into something uglier. That their value is conditional, their dignity must be earned through compliance with someone else’s idea of “proper” femininity.

And it reveals something deeply uncomfortable: women are still being sorted, ranked, and categorized in 2026 as if their worth is a grading system designed for male approval. Respectable or disposable; pure or questionable; worthy or not. And the criteria? Almost always tied to how well they conform to what men find comfortable to consume.

This is not new misogyny—it is recycled misogyny with better lighting and better Wi-Fi. The same old idea repackaged for the digital age: that women must earn dignity through restriction. That there is a “correct” way to be a woman, and anyone who steps outside of it becomes automatically less worthy of respect, attention, or legitimacy.

Lans did not build her platform to become your moral yardstick. She is not your benchmark, not your exception, not your justification for being sexist in a socially acceptable way. She succeeded because she is sharp, articulate, consistent, and genuinely effective at what she does. Because she knows how to communicate and her content has substance. Period. End of story. To reduce all of that into a purity narrative—“She is successful because she didn’t do this or that, unlike other women”—is not just lazy thinking; it is insulting—not only to other women, but to her as well. You are flattening her entire craft into a prop for your own bias.

And spare us the sanctimonious nonsense about “standards.”

Women do not exist to meet your standards. They do not owe you modesty, restraint, purity, silence, or any curated performance of femininity just to qualify for basic respect. A woman dancing online is not less intelligent. A woman showing skin is not less dignified. A woman expressing sexuality is not less human. And a woman existing outside your comfort zone is not a threat that needs correcting.

The arrogance it takes to sit online and rank women like this is staggering.

Because what you are really doing is not praising Lans—you are using her as a shield. A socially acceptable example to justify the same old behavior: shaming other women for how they choose to exist. That is the game, the pattern. And it is not subtle anymore.
